C. Scott Nall, Club President

A total of $40,000 was distributed among the following charities supported by the 2001 - 2002 programs and projects of the Rotary Club of Clearwater. Each year these funds are raised through the club's primary fundraiser, the Annual Kingfish Tournament.

  • Youth Scholarships

  • YMCA Suncoast Building Fund
The Rotary Club of Clearwater is proud to contribute to the $3.5 million renovation of the Clearwater YMCA facility located at 1005 S. Highland Ave. Together, the 2,400 YMCA's are the largest not-for-profit community service organizations in America. Y's are for people of all faiths, ages, abilities, and incomes. The Rotary Club of Clearwater is proud to support "our Y".

  • Clearwater Public Library Building Fund
The Clearwater Library Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. It is a membership organization whose mission is to enhance the cultural, educational and informational environment of the Greater Clearwater community by providing library services, facilities, programs and collections beyond those provided by the traditional tax base funding of the Clearwater Public Library System. We are very excited about supporting the construction of the new Clearwater Public Library.

  • Suncoast Children's Dream Fund
The Suncoast Children's Dream Fund, founded in 1981, is the oldest wish granting organization in Florida, serving children between the ages of 3-18 with life-threatening illnesses.

  • Children's Burn Foundation

  • Little League Team
